Skanda (deduced from Dharmāraṇya-khaṇḍa narrative style within Brahmakhaṇḍa)
Scene: Split scene: on one side a person immersed in water reciting; on the other, the same rite performed on dry ground at dawn; above, the sun rises and darkness retreats, symbolizing sin’s destruction.
The power of sincere mantra-practice destroys accumulated sin swiftly, as light dispels darkness.
No specific tīrtha is required; the rite is presented as effective in any place—water or land.
Aghamarṣaṇa may be performed either in water or on land, emphasizing accessibility alongside efficacy.
