दुःखी यतः पराधीनः सदैवात्मवशः सुखी । यस्मिन्कर्मण्यंतरात्मा क्रियमाणे प्रसीदति
duḥkhī yataḥ parādhīnaḥ sadaivātmavaśaḥ sukhī | yasminkarmaṇyaṃtarātmā kriyamāṇe prasīdati
Car celui qui dépend d’autrui est malheureux, tandis que celui qui se gouverne lui-même est heureux ; qu’on choisisse l’acte dans lequel, au moment même de l’accomplir, l’âme intérieure s’apaise.
