Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 13

सद्धि यस्तं सदाचारं धर्ममूलं विदुर्बुधाः । लक्षणैः परिहीनोऽपि सम्यगाचारतत्परः

saddhi yastaṃ sadācāraṃ dharmamūlaṃ vidurbudhāḥ | lakṣaṇaiḥ parihīno'pi samyagācāratatparaḥ

Les sages savent que la bonne conduite est, en vérité, la racine même du dharma ; même dépourvu de signes extérieurs ou de distinctions, celui qui se voue à la conduite juste est réellement établi.
