Ce lieu sacré est destiné au bain des devas et des rishis à l’âme purifiée. S’y étant baigné et en ayant bu l’eau, on est délivré de tous les péchés.
Skanda (deduced from Dharmāraṇya Māhātmya narration style)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A serene forest-tirtha where devas and rishis bathe; clear water, lotuses, ascetics with matted hair, subtle divine presence; a pilgrim drinks cupped water after bathing.
Holy bathing and reverent use of tīrtha-water purify the practitioner and dissolve accumulated sin.
The Dharmavāpī tīrtha within the Dharmāraṇya context (as continued in the following verses).
Snāna (bathing) and pāna (drinking the sacred water) at the tīrtha.
