एतदाख्यानकं पुण्यं धर्मेण कथितं पुरा । यः शृणोति नरो भक्त्या नारी वा श्रावयेत्तु यः । गोसहस्रफलं तस्य अंते हरिपुरं ब्रजेत्

etadākhyānakaṃ puṇyaṃ dharmeṇa kathitaṃ purā | yaḥ śṛṇoti naro bhaktyā nārī vā śrāvayettu yaḥ | gosahasraphalaṃ tasya aṃte haripuraṃ brajet

Ce récit sacré fut jadis proclamé selon le Dharma. Quiconque—homme ou femme—l’écoute avec dévotion, ou en fait faire la récitation, obtient le mérite d’offrir mille vaches; et, au terme de la vie, gagne la demeure de Hari.
