मम स्थानं पराहर्तुं स्तपस्तेपे सुदुश्चरम् । सर्वान्देवान्समाहूय इदं वचनमब्रवीत्

Transliteration

mama sthānaṃ parāhartuṃ stapastepe suduścaram | sarvāndevānsamāhūya idaṃ vacanamabravīt

Translation

«Pour me ravir ma dignité», il accomplit une austérité (tapas) d’une rigueur extrême. Ayant convoqué tous les dieux, il prononça ces paroles.
