घृण्यौष्ण्याद्दग्धदेहा सा तपस्तेपे पतिव्रता । येन मां तेजसा सह्यं द्रष्टुं नैव शशाक ह

ghṛṇyauṣṇyāddagdhadehā sā tapastepe pativratā | yena māṃ tejasā sahyaṃ draṣṭuṃ naiva śaśāka ha

Son corps brûlé par l’ardeur implacable, cette épouse fidèle accomplit des austérités, car elle n’avait pu me contempler, moi dont l’éclat est insoutenable.
