Type: kshetra
Listener: Ṛṣis (frame implied)
Scene: A family approaches an elder/ācārya with folded hands seeking permission for a child’s naming/first-feeding; the elder blesses; the community watches respectfully.
Humility and reverence for dharmic authority safeguard auspiciousness in life-cycle rites.
Dharmāraṇya is the contextual sacred region; the verse focuses on samskāra-dharma rather than a named pilgrimage spot.
Life-cycle samskāras: jātakarma (birth observance), nāmakaraṇa (naming), and annaprāśana (first feeding).
