Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 90

विशुद्धे चेतसि नृणां ध्यानं सिध्यत्युमापतेः । ध्यानेन सर्वं मलिनं मनोवाक्कायसंभृतम्

viśuddhe cetasi nṛṇāṃ dhyānaṃ sidhyatyumāpateḥ | dhyānena sarvaṃ malinaṃ manovākkāyasaṃbhṛtam

Lorsque l’esprit des hommes est purifié, la méditation sur Umāpati (Śiva, Seigneur d’Umā) s’accomplit. Par la méditation, toute souillure amassée par la pensée, la parole et le corps est ôtée.
