ब्राह्मण उवाच । दिष्ट्या काले प्रबुद्धासि श्रुत्वेमां महतीं कथाम् । मा भैषीस्तव वक्ष्यामि गतिं चैव सुखावहाम्
brāhmaṇa uvāca | diṣṭyā kāle prabuddhāsi śrutvemāṃ mahatīṃ kathām | mā bhaiṣīstava vakṣyāmi gatiṃ caiva sukhāvahām
Le brāhmane dit : «Par heureuse fortune, tu t’es éveillée au moment opportun, après avoir entendu ce grand récit sacré. Ne crains point ; je t’enseignerai la voie et la destinée qui apportent la vraie félicité.»
