तस्मिन्मृते कृतोद्वाहे सहसा तस्य बांधवाः । चुक्रुशुः शोकसंतप्तौ श्वशुरावस्य कन्यका
tasminmṛte kṛtodvāhe sahasā tasya bāṃdhavāḥ | cukruśuḥ śokasaṃtaptau śvaśurāvasya kanyakā
Lorsqu’il mourut soudainement—le mariage à peine achevé—ses proches poussèrent des cris, brûlés par le chagrin; et le beau-père ainsi que la jeune épouse furent consumés de douleur.
