इति प्रसाद्य देवेशं शबरी दृढनिश्चया । विवेश ज्वलितं वह्निं भस्मसादभवत्क्षणात्
iti prasādya deveśaṃ śabarī dṛḍhaniścayā | viveśa jvalitaṃ vahniṃ bhasmasādabhavatkṣaṇāt
Ainsi, ayant obtenu la grâce du Seigneur des dieux, Śabarī, ferme dans sa résolution, entra dans le feu flamboyant et, en un instant, fut réduite en cendres.

Scene: Śabarī, steadfast and composed, stands before a roaring sacrificial-like fire; after offering prayers to Deveśa, she steps into the flames, which flare and then settle, leaving sacred ash (bhasma) as a sign of consummated offering.
