खड्गेनाताडयद्दैत्यो गदापाणिं जनार्दनम् । मण्डलाग्रं ततो गृह्य केशवो हृष्टमानसः

khaḍgenātāḍayaddaityo gadāpāṇiṃ janārdanam | maṇḍalāgraṃ tato gṛhya keśavo hṛṣṭamānasaḥ

Le Daitya frappa de son épée Janārdana, qui tenait la massue en sa main. Alors Keśava, le cœur réjoui, saisit le disque par son rebord.
