ब्राह्मणी क्षत्रिणी वैशी शूद्री यावत्तथैव च । द्वितीयो न भवेद्भर्ता एकाकी चेह जन्मनि

brāhmaṇī kṣatriṇī vaiśī śūdrī yāvattathaiva ca | dvitīyo na bhavedbhartā ekākī ceha janmani

«Qu’elle soit brāhmaṇī, kṣatriṇī, vaiśyā ou śūdrī, telle est la règle : en cette vie même, il ne doit pas y avoir de second époux ; on demeure avec un seul.»
