दानवानां महाभाग सूदिता कोटिरुत्तमा । तदा प्रभृति तत्तीर्थं करोडीति महीतले
dānavānāṃ mahābhāga sūditā koṭiruttamā | tadā prabhṛti tattīrthaṃ karoḍīti mahītale
Ô noble seigneur, là fut détruit un excellent crore de Dānavas; dès lors, sur la terre, ce gué sacré devint renommé sous le nom de « Karoḍī ».
