Skanda Purana — Avanti Khanda, Shloka 32

कलुषत्वं नयत्येव रसेन सुरसा तथा । कृपां करोति सा यस्माल्लोकानामभयप्रदा

kaluṣatvaṃ nayatyeva rasena surasā tathā | kṛpāṃ karoti sā yasmāllokānāmabhayapradā

Par son essence divine, elle ôte assurément toute souillure, et elle est ainsi « Surasā » (au parfum et au goût divins). Et parce qu’elle accorde sa compassion aux mondes et donne l’intrépidité, on se souvient d’elle comme « Kṛpā » (Miséricorde).
