Celui qui donne une maison devient exempt de maladie ; celui qui donne de l’argent (argent métal) devient beau. Celui qui offre des vêtements atteint le monde de la Lune, et celui qui donne un cheval obtient l’union avec le Soleil.
Sūta (Lomaharṣaṇa) (deduced for Āvantya Khaṇḍa narrative style)
Tirtha: Revā-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Listener: Uttānapāda
Scene: Four emblematic donations shown: a small house being granted, a silver tray, folded garments offered at a shrine, and a horse presented; above, Moon-world and Sun radiance symbolically depicted.
Charity (dāna) purifies karma and yields specific auspicious results, from health and beauty to higher celestial attainments.
The teaching appears within the Revā Khaṇḍa, the Māhātmya of the Revā (Narmadā) sacred region in the Skanda Purāṇa.
Material dānas—house, silver, garments, and horse—each linked to a corresponding spiritual fruit.
