ऋक्षशृङ्ग उवाच । पृच्छामि त्वां कथं को वा कुतस्त्वमिह चागतः । ब्रह्मक्षत्रविशां मध्ये को भवानुत शूद्रजः
ṛkṣaśṛṅga uvāca | pṛcchāmi tvāṃ kathaṃ ko vā kutastvamiha cāgataḥ | brahmakṣatraviśāṃ madhye ko bhavānuta śūdrajaḥ
Ṛkṣaśṛṅga dit : "Je te demande : qui es-tu, comment es-tu ici et d'où viens-tu ? Parmi les Brāhmaṇas, les Kṣatriyas et les Vaiśyas, qui es-tu, ou es-tu né Śūdra ?"
