Skanda Purana — Avanti Khanda, Shloka 28

अयं तु सङ्गमः पुण्यो यथा वेण्यां सितासितः । दृष्ट्वा तीर्थं तु ते सर्वे गीर्वाणा हृष्टचेतसः

ayaṃ tu saṅgamaḥ puṇyo yathā veṇyāṃ sitāsitaḥ | dṛṣṭvā tīrthaṃ tu te sarve gīrvāṇā hṛṣṭacetasaḥ

Cette confluence est sainte, telle l’entrelacement de mèches blanches et sombres dans une tresse. En voyant ce tīrtha, tous les Gīrvāṇas, les dieux, furent joyeux au fond du cœur.
