Sūta (Lomaharṣaṇa) (deduced for Āvantya Khaṇḍa narration style)
Tirtha: Revā-tīrtha (Narmadā snāna)
Type: ghat
Scene: At a luminous river ghat, divine attendants stand watch with gentle but firm presence; a penitent pilgrim is welcomed, while shadowy figures of ‘pāpācāra’ fade away, unable to approach the waters.
Access to tīrtha-merit is linked with moral fitness; persistent sinful conduct obstructs the opportunity for sanctifying snāna.
The guarded tīrtha in the Revā Khaṇḍa narrative, presented as protected from improper approach.
Snāna (ritual bathing) is referenced as the key act whose fruition depends on purity of conduct.
