Transliteration

tato'nyadivase vahnirdvijarūpo mahātapāḥ | rājānaṃ prārthayāmāsa raho gatvā śanaiḥ śanaiḥ

Translation

Puis, un autre jour, Vahni, le dieu du Feu, grand ascète, ayant pris l’apparence d’un brāhmane, s’approcha du roi et, à l’écart, lui adressa doucement sa requête.
