Type: kshetra
Listener: Śiva (Devādhideva) with Umā
Scene: A yakṣa, hands folded, petitions Śiva seated with Umā; attendants and a luminous tīrtha backdrop suggest a riverbank shrine; the request is for yakṣa-overlordship.
Authority and prosperity are framed as dharma-grounded gifts, to be sought from the Divine rather than through mere power.
The boon-request occurs in the sacred tīrtha context of the confluence where the austerity was performed.
No new rite is prescribed; the verse records the devotee’s boon-request following completed tapas and worship.
