Skanda Purana — Avanti Khanda, Shloka 116

ब्राह्मणे वृत्तसम्पन्ने प्रीयतां मे महेश्वरः । तस्या जन्मार्जितं पापं नश्यते विभवान्विता

brāhmaṇe vṛttasampanne prīyatāṃ me maheśvaraḥ | tasyā janmārjitaṃ pāpaṃ naśyate vibhavānvitā

Lorsque le don est offert à un brāhmaṇa doté d’une conduite droite, que mon Maheśvara en soit satisfait. Pour cette femme, comblée de prospérité, le péché amassé au fil des naissances est détruit.
