न शूद्राय मतिं दद्यान्नोच्छिष्टं न हविष्कृतम् । न चास्योपदिशेद्धर्मं न चास्य व्रतमादिशेत्
na śūdrāya matiṃ dadyānnocchiṣṭaṃ na haviṣkṛtam | na cāsyopadiśeddharmaṃ na cāsya vratamādiśet
On ne doit pas donner de conseil à un Śūdra; ni lui offrir des restes de nourriture, ni des offrandes préparées comme havis. On ne doit pas non plus lui enseigner le dharma, ni lui prescrire des vœux.
