Narrator (Skanda Purāṇa voice) concluding the svarga-phala narrative to a Pāṇḍava listener
Tirtha: Revā (Narmadā)
Type: tirtha
Scene: A celestial playground where the blessed soul plays with devas; siddhas and gandharvas sing praises. In a second visual beat, the same soul descends toward earth, foreshadowing rebirth as a powerful king.
Puṇya brings celestial honor and, after its exhaustion, a favorable rebirth—here described as powerful kingship aligned with dharma.
The Revā-khaṇḍa tīrtha context (Revā/Narmadā sacred circuit) whose rites are said to generate these fruits.
No new prescription; it completes the promised results of the earlier tīrtha-bathing, pitṛ rites, and dharmic discipline.
