मेनकायां प्रभो जाता साम्प्रतं या ह्युमाभिधा । अनादिनिधना देवी ह्यप्रतर्क्या सुरेश्वर

menakāyāṃ prabho jātā sāmprataṃ yā hyumābhidhā | anādinidhanā devī hyapratarkyā sureśvara

Ô Seigneur, celle qui est maintenant appelée Umā naquit de Menakā. Pourtant, cette Déesse est sans commencement ni fin, et demeure inconcevable à la raison, ô Seigneur des dieux.
