Transliteration

sapañcavartikān dīpān ghṛtenojjvālya bhaktitaḥ | purāṇaśravaṇairnṛtyairgītavādyaiḥ sumaṅgalaiḥ

Translation

Avec dévotion, en allumant des lampes de ghee à cinq mèches, (qu’on veille) par l’écoute des Purāṇa, par des danses, et par des chants et musiques instrumentales de bon augure.
