मासि चाश्वयुजे तत्र शुक्लपक्षे चतुर्दशीम् । उपोष्य प्रयतः स्नातस्तर्पयेत्पितृदेवताः
māsi cāśvayuje tatra śuklapakṣe caturdaśīm | upoṣya prayataḥ snātastarpayetpitṛdevatāḥ
Et là, au mois d’Āśvayuja, le quatorzième jour de la quinzaine claire, après avoir jeûné et s’être baigné en pureté, qu’on offre le tarpaṇa aux Pitṛs et aux divinités.
