Type: kshetra
Listener: Dvija-śreṣṭha
Scene: Śiva declares his abiding presence with Ambikā; the Goddess appears as Saubhāgyasundarī—radiant, benevolent, removing sorrow—beside Śiva, with the kṣetra landscape sanctified by their aura.
A tīrtha becomes supremely sanctified by divine residence—Śiva and Śakti’s abiding presence makes the site a refuge from sorrow.
The Bhṛgukṣetra/Bhṛgukaccha sacred region, where Śiva declares his dwelling with Ambikā.
No specific rite is prescribed here; the verse establishes the deity-form and the promised removal of suffering through her presence.
