tasya te dvādaśābdāni śāntiṃ gacchanti tarpitāḥ | dadhikṣīreṇa toyena ghṛtena madhunā saha
Ainsi rassasiés, les Pitṛs atteignent la paix durant douze années. (Le tarpaṇa peut être offert) avec de l’eau mêlée de caillé et de lait, avec du ghee, et aussi avec du miel.
