Type: kshetra
Listener: Yudhiṣṭhira
Scene: A pilgrim completes snana and approaches the Bhūtīśvara linga, offering bilva leaves and water, lamp flames flickering; the devotee’s face shows calm inner cleansing.
Tīrtha-bathing becomes complete when joined with devotion—worship of Śiva purifies both conduct and consciousness.
Bhūtīśvara, presented as a Śaiva tīrtha within the Revā Khaṇḍa (Narmadā-region sacred geography).
Bathe at Bhūtīśvara and then perform pūjā to Īśāna (Śiva).
