Skanda Purana — Avanti Khanda, Shloka 22

तस्य ते ह्यक्षयां तृप्तिं प्राप्नुवन्ति न संशयः । नर्मदायां द्विजः स्नात्वा मौनी नियतमानसः

tasya te hyakṣayāṃ tṛptiṃ prāpnuvanti na saṃśayaḥ | narmadāyāṃ dvijaḥ snātvā maunī niyatamānasaḥ

Pour lui, ceux-là (les ancêtres) obtiennent assurément une satisfaction inépuisable, sans aucun doute. Après s’être baigné dans la Narmadā, le deux-fois-né, observant le silence et maîtrisant son esprit, poursuit (le rite).
