Skanda Purana — Avanti Khanda, Shloka 4
यथा निर्गच्छते जीवस्त्यक्त्वा देहं न पश्यति । तथा गच्छन्पुनर्देहं पञ्चभूतसमन्वितः
yathā nirgacchate jīvastyaktvā dehaṃ na paśyati | tathā gacchanpunardehaṃ pañcabhūtasamanvitaḥ
De même que le jīva s’en va, abandonnant le corps et ne le percevant plus, de même aussi, poursuivant sa route, il va vers un autre corps, de nouveau muni des cinq éléments.
