यथा निर्गच्छते जीवस्त्यक्त्वा देहं न पश्यति । तथा गच्छन्पुनर्देहं पञ्चभूतसमन्वितः
yathā nirgacchate jīvastyaktvā dehaṃ na paśyati | tathā gacchanpunardehaṃ pañcabhūtasamanvitaḥ

Mārkaṇḍeya (contextual response begins in the surrounding verses)
Scene: A symbolic sequence: a faint luminous jīva leaving a fallen body, moving toward a new form assembling from earth-water-fire-air-ether motifs; the scene is contemplative, not gruesome.
It emphasizes the continuity of the jīva through death and rebirth, while bodies are temporary elemental formations.
None directly; the verse provides metaphysical grounding within the Revā Khaṇḍa narrative.
None in this verse.
