हंससारससंघुष्टं कोकिलाकुलसंकुलम् । सिंहव्याघ्रगजाकीर्णमृक्षवानरसेवितम्

haṃsasārasasaṃghuṣṭaṃ kokilākulasaṃkulam | siṃhavyāghragajākīrṇamṛkṣavānarasevitam

Elle retentissait des cris des cygnes et des grues, et foisonnait de troupes de coucous ; remplie de lions, de tigres et d’éléphants, elle était fréquentée par les ours et les singes.
