यत्पुण्यं श्राद्धकर्तॄणां तदिहैव भवेद्ध्रुवम् । तिलोदकं कुशैर्मिश्रं यो दद्याद्दक्षिणामुखः
yatpuṇyaṃ śrāddhakartṝṇāṃ tadihaiva bhaveddhruvam | tilodakaṃ kuśairmiśraṃ yo dadyāddakṣiṇāmukhaḥ
Quel que soit le mérite de ceux qui accomplissent le śrāddha, ici même il se manifeste assurément. Celui qui, tourné vers le sud, offre l’eau au sésame mêlée d’herbe kuśa (en tarpaṇa) obtient ce fruit certain.
