यद्ब्रह्म आद्यं प्रवदन्ति केचिद्यं सर्वमीशानमजं पुराणम् । तमेकरूपं तमनेकरूपमरूपमाद्यं परमव्ययाख्यम्

yadbrahma ādyaṃ pravadanti kecidyaṃ sarvamīśānamajaṃ purāṇam | tamekarūpaṃ tamanekarūpamarūpamādyaṃ paramavyayākhyam

Ce que certains déclarent être le Brahman primordial—Lui qui est tout, le Seigneur (Īśāna), non-né et antique—ils le décrivent comme d’une seule forme, de multiples formes, et sans forme : le Premier, le Suprême, nommé l’Impérissable.
