Rudra (context continues)
Tirtha: Eraṇḍī-saṅgama
Type: ghat
Listener: Devī
Scene: A pilgrim forms rice-balls (piṇḍa) on darbha grass near the water; then walks clockwise around a shrine/saṅgama marker; finally offers gold coin and folded cloth to a seated brāhmaṇa.
Tīrtha merit is upheld by ritual responsibility: honoring ancestors, reverence through circumambulation, and generosity through dāna complete dharma.
The instructions belong to the Eraṇḍī-saṅgama context within the Revā Khaṇḍa.
Offer piṇḍa as per vidhāna, perform pradakṣiṇā, and give dāna—specifically gold (dhiraṇya) and cloth (vastra).
