वेदोपवेदवेदाङ्गादीन्यभिव्यस्य पूरितः । अष्टादशपुराणानां वक्ता सत्यवतीसुतः

vedopavedavedāṅgādīnyabhivyasya pūritaḥ | aṣṭādaśapurāṇānāṃ vaktā satyavatīsutaḥ

«Après avoir pleinement exposé les Veda, les Upaveda, les Vedāṅga et le reste, le fils de Satyavatī (Vyāsa) devint l’exégète des dix-huit Purāṇa».
