Tattva Level: pashu
Cosmic Event: kalpa-cycle: recurring manifestation of yogeśvara teachers (Vyāsa-avatāra succession)
It affirms that sacred knowledge is preserved across cosmic cycles through enlightened sages—Vyāsa-incarnations—who function as yogic authorities ensuring the continuity of dharma and Shaiva wisdom.
By emphasizing the lineage of realized teachers, it supports the Shaiva view that correct Linga-worship and Saguna Shiva-upāsanā are learned through authentic transmission—scripture clarified by competent rishis like Vyāsa.
Śravaṇa (reverent listening) in proper sequence—study of scripture under guidance—serves as a foundational sādhana that supports mantra-japa, dhyāna, and disciplined yogic practice.
