Quand survient l’auspicieux cours du nord (Uttarāyaṇa), durant la quinzaine claire et en un jour propice, qu’on établisse la Déesse en un lieu sacré; puis qu’on y trace le lotus rituel comme il a été prescrit auparavant.

Tattva Level: pasha

Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: nurturing
Cosmic Event: Uttarāyaṇa (sun’s northward course) as an auspicious cosmological marker for consecration.
It teaches that Shaiva worship is strengthened when devotion is aligned with auspicious time (uttarāyaṇa, śukla-pakṣa), pure place, and correct ritual form—preparing the mind for grace (anugraha) through disciplined reverence.
By prescribing the installation of Devī and a lotus diagram, the verse supports saguna upāsanā—structured worship using forms and symbols—often understood in Shaiva contexts as harmonizing Śiva-Śakti, which culminates in steadfast devotion to Śiva’s presence (such as the Liṅga).
Choose an auspicious period (uttarāyaṇa, bright fortnight), establish Devī in a clean sacred space, and draw a lotus (abja) diagram/yantra as previously taught—using it as the focused seat for worship and meditation.
