Ayant commencé la grande pūjā et vénéré comme il se doit les dix vases rituels, on doit se souvenir du mantra de Śiva et le consacrer dans l’eau contenue dans le kumbha de Śiva.
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Sthala Purana: Not tied to a specific Jyotirliṅga; focuses on mahāpūjā with worship of ten kalaśas and mantra-āveśa (infusion) into the Śiva-kumbha water for subsequent consecration/abhisheka.
Type: panchakshara
It teaches that outer ritual (mahāpūjā and kalaśa-pūjā) becomes spiritually potent when joined to inner remembrance of Śiva through mantra, sanctifying the offering medium (water) for Śaiva worship.
The consecrated Śiva-kumbha water is typically used for abhiṣeka to the Liṅga—worship of Saguna Śiva—where mantra-infused offerings become a direct devotional act leading the devotee toward Śiva’s grace.
Perform kalaśa-pūjā, then do mantra-smaraṇa/japa of the Śiva-mantra (commonly the Pañcākṣarī) while mentally infusing the Śiva-kumbha water, preparing it for abhiṣeka and related rites.
