Après avoir réalisé l’attache avec les substances appropriées et purifié le lieu, ils doivent offrir l’arghya et des fleurs; puis remettre de nouveau le rideau (yavanikā) à sa juste place.

Tattva Level: pashu
Sthala Purana: General ritual instruction: fastening/binding (bandhana) of the setup, purification of the ritual locus, offering arghya and flowers, and re-establishing the yavanikā (screen/curtain) as part of consecration protocol.
Offering: pushpa
It emphasizes disciplined, reverent worship—purifying the space, making proper preparations, and offering arghya and flowers—so the devotee approaches Shiva (Pati) with inner and outer cleanliness, reducing pasha-like impurities that obstruct grace.
The verse describes practical steps of Shiva-puja consistent with Linga worship: preparing the shrine, cleansing the ritual area, offering arghya and flowers, and using a yavanika (screen/curtain) as part of orderly, respectful saguna-upasana.
A structured Shiva-puja sequence is suggested: cleanse the worship place, arrange the required materials, offer arghya and flowers with devotion, and proceed with the next stage of worship—ideally accompanied by mantra-japa such as the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya).
