Il doit être pourvu d’une tige (nāla) conforme à sa propre forme ; et de même, un bulbe (kanda) façonné en or doit être réalisé correctement selon la règle prescrite.

The verse emphasizes samyak-vidhi—doing worship with correct form and intention—showing that devotion to Pati (Shiva) is strengthened when offerings are prepared with purity, precision, and reverence.
It reflects Saguna-upasana where Shiva is approached through a consecrated form and ritual supports; the careful crafting of an offering or ritual implement becomes a disciplined means to focus the mind on Shiva as the gracious Lord (Pati).
It suggests strict adherence to prescribed procedure (vidhi) in making worship-items; as a takeaway, pair such careful worship with steady japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) to keep the mind aligned with the rite.
