FAQs

It prescribes a complete act of Shaiva devotion—external worship (pūjā and homa) culminating in humble surrender (añjali) and praise (stotra), aligning action and mind toward Pati (Shiva) for purification and grace.

Even when worship is performed in open space (nabhasi), the focus is Saguna Shiva—the personal Lord who receives offerings and responds to devotion; the stotra becomes the inner offering that complements the outer rite, as in Linga-worship traditions.

Perform Shiva-pūjā with homa (oblations), then stand steadily with folded palms (añjali) and recite the prescribed hymn—emphasizing disciplined posture, reverence, and devotional recitation.
