Transliteration

supralipte mahīpṛṣṭhe darpaṇodarasaṃnibhe | prācīmutpādayetpūrvaṃ śāstradṛṣṭena vartmanā

Translation

Sur une terre bien enduite et parfaitement nivelée, lisse comme l’intérieur d’un miroir, on doit d’abord établir la direction de l’Est, selon la voie indiquée par les śāstra.
