शिवाचार्याभिषेकविधिः / Rite of Consecrating a Śiva-Teacher (Śivācārya Abhiṣeka)
उपमन्युरुवाच । अथैवं संस्कृतं शिष्यं कृतपाशुपतव्रतम् । आचार्यत्वे ऽभिषिंचेत तद्योगत्वेन चान्यथा
upamanyuruvāca | athaivaṃ saṃskṛtaṃ śiṣyaṃ kṛtapāśupatavratam | ācāryatve 'bhiṣiṃceta tadyogatvena cānyathā
Upamanyu dit : « Ensuite, après avoir ainsi purifié et préparé comme il convient le disciple—celui qui a observé le vœu pāśupata—le maître doit l’oindre par l’abhiṣeka et l’établir dans la fonction d’ācārya ; sinon, qu’on n’agisse qu’en accord avec l’aptitude de ce disciple à la discipline du yoga. »
