It emphasizes that Śaiva mantra‑knowledge is transmitted only with Śiva’s sanction and through proper instruction, and that the praṇava (Oṁ) and inner surrender (namo) are central to internalizing Śiva‑consciousness for purification and liberation.
By prescribing a Śaiva vidyā framed with Oṁ and ‘namo’, it supports Saguna worship through mantra that invokes Śiva as the gracious Lord (Pati) approachable by devotion, often practiced alongside liṅga‑pūjā as an inner offering of reverence.
It points to mantra‑dīkṣā and japa using Oṁ as the opening, with a protective ‘saṃpuṭa’ framing and the salutation ‘namo’ internalized—i.e., disciplined recitation and meditation where reverence is carried inward rather than kept merely external.
