FAQs

It teaches that outer ritual (worship, prostration, homa) should culminate in inner remembrance—contemplating Shiva’s grace as the true cause of auspicious fruition, aligning action with devotion and awareness.

The verse reflects Saguna Shiva worship through formal pūjā and fire-offering, typical of linga-centered practice, and then points to a meditative assimilation—remembering the sanctified act and its result as offered to Shiva.

Perform pūjā and a proper homa according to injunctions, then practice anusmṛti—repeated inner recollection/meditation on the completed rite and Shiva as its sanctifier, letting the mind rest in devotion and purity.
