शिवसंस्कार-दीक्षानिरूपणम् (Śivasaṃskāra and the Typology of Dīkṣā)

Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Significance: Affirms that sincere, uncontrived bhakti to Śiva (Pati) itself becomes the decisive purifier for the bound soul (paśu), overriding social/ritual disability.
It teaches that inner sincerity—akṛtrima bhāva directed to Śiva, the Supreme Cause—outweighs external qualifications; Shiva’s grace purifies the devotee beyond social or birth-based categories.
Linga worship emphasizes accessible, concrete devotion to Saguna Shiva; this verse supports that genuine bhakti toward Shiva (whether through Linga, mantra, or pūjā) is effective regardless of conventional eligibility rules.
Cultivate uncontrived devotion through steady japa of the Panchākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and simple Shiva upāsanā (e.g., Linga abhiṣeka with a prayerful mind), prioritizing sincerity over mere formalism.
