Avec un effort fervent, qu’on le contente par la pensée, par l’acte et par la parole. Que le disciple poursuive service et adoration jusqu’à ce que le guru, dans sa grâce, soit pleinement satisfait.

Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Dakṣiṇāmūrti
Role: teaching
It teaches that progress in Shaiva sadhana depends on wholehearted alignment of thought, word, and deed, expressed as humble guru-seva until grace arises—an essential doorway to Shiva’s anugraha (liberating favor).
Linga-worship is not only external ritual; it must be supported by purity of mind, disciplined conduct, and truthful speech. Serving the guru who transmits Shiva-knowledge is treated as a living extension of Saguna Shiva-upasana leading toward realization.
Practice tri-karana-shuddhi (purity of mind, speech, and action) alongside steady guru-seva; support it with japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and daily worship performed with sincerity until inner clarity and grace are felt.
